This is a very important point. There are many Jews who are horrified by what is being done in Israel. Many of these apparently ‘self hating Jews’ are subjected to threats and harrassment by Zionists. There are many Jewish organisations supporting justice for the Palestinian people.

Zioism is a racist idealogy, and you do not need to be a Jew to support it. George Bush and the Neocons, as well as many in New Labour are Zionists.

The points been made, and I agree; something has to be done to punish Israel after this latest atrocity inflicted on the Palestinian people, overwhelmingly supported by the Israeli people.

Boycott gives out the message to the people of Israel that the Zionist idealogy is completely unacceptable.

Hasbara in full swing, trying desperately to tell the world that they have got it all wrong about Israel and the blood- letting of the people of Gaza.

Israel absolutely HAD to kill all these babies and children, bomb UN schools and shelters, because Hamas, who HAVE agreed to a two state solution, are the bad guys. They are a democratically elected resistance movement.

We have seen what you did, the slaughter in Gaza, we know what you stand for, taking what is left of Palestine and killing the people.

as the Zionists crawl over these threads with their ever more desperate attempts to justify the carnage inflicted on Gaza, there is a liberal use of the term Islamists. Hamas was elected by secular Muslims and Christians as they are the party of resistance.
There are more religious fanatics in Israel.

Hamas were democratically elected in free and fair elections in 2006. Ismail Haniyeh send a message to the Bush white House offering a long term truce in return for an end to Israeli occupation. His offer was not even acknowledged. Hamas also made an offer to Fatah to form a coalition government, but this was also refused. Instead, Israel and the USA armed the defeated Fatah under Abbas, in the hope of creating civil war ,while withholding desperately needed aid as further punishment. Hamas, which has a religious identity, retained control of Gaza, but has been subjected to an intense campaign of vilification by a western press which portrays them as hard line Islamists (terrorists?) intent on the destruction of Israel. Using this propaganda to further their aims of ethnic cleansing, Israel has subjected Gaza to the terrifying effect of aerial bombardments, house demolitions, sonic booms that have caused deafness and the blockade of food and medicines, ect. And now, Lloyds TSB have blocked desperaately needed aid from the charity Interpal, why?
