The CiF essay by a senior Hamas terrorist named Musa Abumarzuq, which Israelinurse commented on here, elicited 321 comments, including this one:
And, then:
Commence mockery of the Guardian’s, um, “community standards”…..now.

Guardian/CiF brown nosing Islamist terrorists again. What you said was true if a tad ironic – but since when have extreme, right- or left-wing authoritarians ever been noted for their sense of humour?
Oooer… just had a thought. Did they read a German accent into your last sentence and get hot under the collar that you were implying that the cuddly bunnies of Hamas’ Peace, Love and Light Brigade were fascists????
Now, IF you were, I can’t imagine where you got that idea.

The “Guardian Of Hamas”……. good one…..
And the Guardian of every Islamist and the Guardian of every anti/Israel anti/Zionist anti/Semitic low life that walks this planet.

Besides the obvious, the Guardian keeps commissioning these fallacious silly (at bargain basement prices) and very badly written articles by Muslims or Arabs, who make sure that Israelis are mentioned in a very negative light.

I suspect that to get a post published at The Groan, the writer probably get a hint that a few derogatory comments about ‘The evil Zionist Entity’ will assist a positive decision to publish.

The Guardian demonstrates the wisdom of deploying the plenary genitive:
either Hamas’ Guardian or the Guardian’s Hamas, it makes little difference.
Simultaneity in action as it were

censorship is free
One begins to assume that the groan is actually proud of its blatant censorship policy.
One may agree or disagree with its world view, but, surely, this, and many other examples prove that free comment is the last thing that cif wants,or,indeed, believes in.
(I did read the groan in my younger days, and, being then somewhat disorganized and financially challenged,I can confirm that the paper did have its uses.It is relatively soft, and really quite absorbent, and, in its pre-Berliner days, could quite easily be torn into strips which fitted quite neatly onto the average domestic toilet roll holder.)

I’m sure that if The Guardian/Cif was ever interrogated on a public forum as to their position on Hamas they would reply that they will display on their site varying views of the situation or some such platitude.
Then comes the question why they have never had a post by a BNP official presenting the BNP side of the social conflicts in the UK.
