This outstanding video by CAMERA exposes the BBC’s disregard of its own Editorial Guidelines when it defended an egregiously one-sided and inaccurate documentary about Jerusalem.
The video investigates the flouting of these guidelines by Panorama and the disingenuous ruling of the BBC Trust’s Editorial Standards Committee in support of the January 2010 segment.

The Beeb has taken care to appoint Chris Patten as its new Trust chairman so that the bias will continue. Patten’s record on Israel is far from being a credit to his neutrality in the matter.

Never mind. Israel may soon have its own 24 hour rolling news channel, a la the Beeb and Al Jazeera, etc. At home we reckon it should be named “EMET” – “TRUTH”. Now, that’ll larn ‘em!
