I posted recently about a comment thread in a recent CiF post on universal jurisdiction in the UK which was completely dominated by readers intent on vilifying Israel – comments which the CiF moderator deemed perfectly acceptable regardless of how far off-topic some of the anti-Israel invectives were.
In “Obama doctrine? If only” (CiF, April 3) Michael Boyle’s criticism of the U.S. President’s decision to use military force in Libya produced this:
And, then:
So while nurturing Guardian readers’ hateful obsession with Israel is perfectly acceptable, demonstrating the egregious double standards by which Israel is routinely treated doesn’t “abide by [their] community standards.”

The Guardian has community standards?????These standards must be very low standards for the reptiles that slither on their website.
These guys have a perverted sense of humor.

It’s the same on site in the Netherlands. Sites like De Telegraaf are only accepting anti-Israël reactions.
This hostility against Israël was predicted, so don’t worry. As long these predictions stand more than 2000 years, we also know that everything will be OK and Israël will get some rough times, but survive ALWAYS!!
Everybody attacking Israël is, without realizing it, fullfilling the prophecies that we’ve received wel over 2000 years ago. So let them … the sooner it will all be over

Because it was a plainly anti-semitic and conspiracy-mongering comment?
