Well, here we go again. An official Israeli inquiry into the deaths of nine Turks (Muslims) yet no one gives a shit about the deaths of over 100 Uzbeks in Kyrgyzstan in the ongoing ethnic – mostly Muslim on Muslim – violence. According to Rueters:

How many stories in the Guardian regarding the violence and deaths of women and children? The plain truth is that no one gives a shit about the deaths in Kyrgyzstan – Muslim or not. But a few Turkish trouble-making Muslims killed by some Jews……..

I have seen nominally Muslim commenters on CiF in the past saying that Muslims are enraged when non-Muslims kill Muslims but will remain silent when Muslims slaughter Muslims or Muslims slaughter non Muslims.

This is what is happening in Darfur.

It also explains Bungles complete silence on Darfur and I hardly expect a peep from him relating to Kyrgyzstan’s killings.

Whenever I read your poisonous lies, distortions, wilful misinterpretation of international law, etc. etc. with regard to Israel, I remember the Dreyfus affair.
You see, here was an individual Jew who was a loyal French citizen and loyal member of the military, who had trumped up charges levelled against him by antisemites.
His public humiliation in a ceremony to remove his military credentials was watched and exulted over by politicians, the military, the press and other representatives of French officialdom.
It was the secular and disinterested Jew, Theodor Herzl, standing in the press enclosure as a reporter for a Viennese newspaper whose life was changed by what he witnessed, and from that, millions of other lives.
It was not the overt antisemitism from the military, which he expected, that shocked him as much as the unexpected “winds of hate” from his own, supposedly enlightened, profession ie. the press corps.
From that moment on, he became a committed zionist, and the rest is history.
The re-creation of the Jewish state was accelerated as a direct result of the expression of hatred against the Jews, which Herzl witnessed.
Then, as now, the “entire world” was against the Jew, Dreyfus, and his guilt was taken as read.
But as we all know, the truth emerged, and his innocence established.
Now we have the trumped-up charges against the collective Jew, Israel, expressed with the same fury and intensity as in the Dreyfus affair.

You might be correct in stating that most Muslim dominated countries, or countries of whom the Muslim population is larger than 10 percent may whitness racial tensions, human rights abuses or conflict / war invloving that muslim minority / majority (depending on the country).

There are many countries (south and central america as well as the far east are great examples) where the factions are driven by christians or other religions and the conflict is about ideology, political alignment, corruption, external intervention, drugs or all of the above…

My simple point is that some posters only seem to notice it at key times…when settlements are being constructed or ships are attacked …you know..

We notice the Darfur problem every single day by allowing hundreds of Darfurian refugees enter and reside in Israel. I must to tell you that the expenses are not covered by the UNRWA but the Israeli taxpayers.
