The comments were perfectly acceptable and contributed to the debate about East Jerusalem. They also suggests exactly how low our (the west) expectations are for the Palestinians. They have been taken in by the west as victims, unable to do anything on their own without help. Is their leadership never held to account?

Another reason for the riots is that the Arabic press reported that the Jews were planning to lay the cornerstone of the third temple yesterday (obviously the Al-Aqsa mosque would have to be demolished to achieve this)
Whether the Palestinians bought into this or whether it was just further incitement, it was enought to end in rioting and violence.

I think it is the constant reminding of the synagogue being destroyed in Jordan that is the problem.I noticed that MILLFIELD is repeating this over and over as well.
It could be that they think these comments are gently and subtly trying to throw debate away from the stupidity of the Biden blunder. They should not be deleted but they are well off topic.

Berchmans, you fool, you have no idea that this is the truth of the matter – the synagogue was not destroyed IN JORDAN, why don’t you read properly? It was an ancient synagogue IN JERUSALEM that was damaged and desecrated by the Jordanians when they ethnically cleansed the Jews from Jerusalem (something the Israelis are accused of but never did).
The Arabs don’t like Jews restoring up their synagogues because it means that they’re going to stay there, and so they should

My post reads as if I was shocked that the Brits would be party to a slaughter.. this is not what I meant to imply which was musing as to “what the F*** was in it for the Brits”. The 1895 famine in India was worsened considerably by the British creaming off what there was ..and 20 M died .I am not naive as to the poisonous past of UK corp.

I know this point is slightly off-topic but it is what makes CIF such a receptacle of excrement. What really makes me apoplectic is the fact that is appears that only Jews are not allowed to determine what constitutes racism towards them. If a representative of any other ethnic group (including Muslims, who are not an ethnic group) decides that treatment, terminology, discrimination, stereotypes and ignorance embody xenophobia then that is taken as understood and the onus is on the perpetrator to examine their intentions and face the music. However, with anti-Semitism it appears the opposite is true. CIF anti-Israel obsessives are never expected to examine their own motivations.
Posters are encouraged to pontificate on a topic they know little or nothing about but have a particular axe to grind and funnily enough these same posters appear to have little or nothing obsessive to say on almost any other topic – why are they not obsessed and outraged with calling for a boycott of the US or UK for occupying sovereign lands, why are they not obsessed and outraged at the rampant racism in so many Islamic states where Jews and Christians are not even allowed to be there or have their own places of worship, why no obsession with the Islamic destruction of non-muslim places of worship (which is the reason the Israelis rebuilt the synagogue) why are they not obsessed and outraged with the murder of gays and the promotion of holocaust denial in certain states, why are they not obsessed with the creation of Pakistan and the displacement, violence, corruption and oppression that has continued since its inception, why are they not obsessed with the lack of democratic human rights in vast swathes of the world, why no boycotts of China, Iran, USSR. I could go on and unfortunately appear to have done – so nothing new I’m afraid just an angry pro-Semitic gentile Zionist who is sick to his back teeth with the lies and hyperbole surrounding Israel. GarryG responded to a bigoted anti-Israel post by Tnot. Then Tnot responded to GarryG’s post. Then GarryG responded to Tnot again. Both GarryG’s posts were deleted, while Tnot’s vicious diatribe, and his response to GarryG were left up.
It is apparent that CIF has abandoned any attempts to hide the way they censor the threads in favour of the Israel haters. Thank God CifWatch is here to record the abuse.
