Yet a post defending Shlomo Sand’s antisemitic writings in response to Abtalyon’s deleted post remains.
“Fair and balanced” yeh right.

Bartal’s response to Sand was excellent and relevant. The Guardian deleted it only to enforce the Guardian’s historical revisionism, in service of its agenda both to eliminate the Jewish state and to eliminate the Jewish people as a distinct identity.
To Bartal’s comments, I would add only that modern DNA techniques have easily refuted the anti-Semites’ racialist Khazarian nonsense. Estimates of “Khazarian” DNA remnants in the Ashkenazi Jewish genome vary by study, but have generally been found to be less than 5%. The maximum estimates have been about 12%.

Abtalyon’s comment was factual, polite, to the point, grammatical and fair and it introduced valid new elements to the discussion.
Admirable, in short
I see no reason there for comment is free to want to retain it on their permanent record of the thread.

Yeah, it does look like TG’s ‘moderators’ at work.

I was surprised to see my deleted comment here as I didn’t send it in for inclusion.
The CiF Moderators got an e-mail from me but I have had no reply, nor do I expect one. Maybe they took umbrage at my denigratory remarks on Zand, perhaps fearing legal consequences.

I like Margies 2 30 .If you look… it is accurate and sensible. The Guardian has no excuse for deleting this, but ” eliminate the Jewish people ” goodness me this is risible…

I see nothing objectionable about the post.
I do, however, with the following:
Independent Observer
the Guardian’s historical revisionism, in service of its agenda both to eliminate the Jewish state and to eliminate the Jewish people as a distinct identity
Yes, that’s why there are so many Jewish Guardian journalists and CiF contributors. Doh.
I can understand if you’re p*ssed of about CiF – but there’s no need to go overboard like that.
