I agree exactly with what you are saying. There is nothing wrong with the concept of “native”, however, in terms of the war on Israel, the concept is used to undermine the Jewish state – to delegitimize Israel. Another method is by citing Shlomo Sand and his publication “The Invention of the Jewish People”.
