Bella You’re Famous!

This might sound strange, but I think you should take it easy on poor “Bella”.

You have to take into account she would have been brought up in the environment of Pa Rustbucket’s hypocritical “liberalism” (the quotes are there because the “liberalism” the Grauniad espouses is not always what I would class as actual Liberalism), and the politics of envy and relativism.

She would have heard all those Middle Class dinner parties, where the discussion turned from “where are you skiing this winter, darling”, to “ooh, isn’t Israel evil”.

She would have been fine-tuned into believing Capitalism was the root of all evil, and anybody resisting this, whether its Castro, Gaddafi or Ahmadinejad, are heroes of our time. Discussions on the murder and oppression of innocent people in countries like Iran and Cuba would have been strictly off-limits, and she would have been directed to topics such as Gaza, etc.

It would have been hard for poor “Bella” to have grown up unadulaterated, and with all that anti-U.S. and anti-Israel education in her household, it is no wonder she had all the right credentials when “applying” for a job at her daddy’s company.

So remember folks, it isn’t all “Bella’s” fault.

I like your irony. Please remember though that CiFWatch is a serious organ and humour is secondary to our main objective.

Fairplay, I am 100% sure that CW is glad of your support, but given that the likes of CiF and the strange creatures who are encouraged to inhabit it don’t “do” humour, and particularly not at their own expense (it tends to wobble their view of themselves because they need to hang on to that view rigidly no matter what) the more CW takes the p*ss out of them the better.

I don’t know if you have seen the British propaganda film send up during WW2 of “The Lambeth Walk”. This resulted in its makers being put on Hitler’s death list once he invaded the UK. If you have not, you should try to get a look at it. Its particular cleverness lay in making the stiff-as-starch Nazi hierarchy look like clowns which sent them into a rage because they were all authoritarians.

CiF is run on authoritarian lines and it seems to me that what was sauce for the Nazi goose then can be sauce for the CiF gander now.

Little Bella must have had quite an interview at the Guardian when she “applied” for her job. I’m sure that the human resources department had no idea who daddy was. She just happened to be the best qualified applicant for the job. What a coincidence that daddy is the boss of the Guardian.
The Guardian has never disclosed that this supposedly independent voice is the daqughter of the boss. Given that they refused to disclose this we have to wonder whatever else they have hidden away in their attic.
