As long as the left in General and The Guardian in particular believe that Israel is “oppressing the Palestinian Arabs” and that that is the real problem they will never be able to see the putrid antisemitism that has infected its political mindset.

The relationship between Israel and the Arabs is too complex to be reduces to one of oppressor and oppressed.

Let’s face it Islamists don’t care to distinguish between their visceral hatred of Israel and their equally implacable hatred of Jews and often use the two interchangeably, so it’s hardly a surprise that their sympathisers and fellow travellers don’t care to make the distinction either.

Spot on. And it would not have been out of place to add that by so doing it opens the door to making that mindless hatred acceptable by repetition (anyone who holds his/her nose and reads Comment is Free articles will quickly see a pattern of argument (if indeed that is what it can be called) which revolves around a very few regurgitated and hate-filled themes. Particularly sickening is that these people actually believe what they are writing.

And sababa, I agree that Mark Gardner’s piece about Seven Jewish Children was an excellent attempt to help the blind to see and the deaf to hear but al-Grauniad’s response was typical of its narcissistic view of itself – along the lines of We like it so everyone else can go hang.

Might it be the case that the Sunni countries would avoid the mad Azeri on grounds of religious difference, apart from the danger the Iranian regime presents to them?

I feel that if this were true, many would not remain Guardian readers. The obvious bigotry pointed out by the article above should convince them of the underlying obsessive hate of anything Western that The Guardian exhibits.

Perhaps that should read ‘Guardian Management’ as I seem to remember other posters alluding to a Trotsky cabal who have taken control of the Guardian Newspaper.

BTW,JM this IS exactly where most Guardian readers want to be taken,just read their posts.
